Nettie Moore

With a rich background spanning 15 years at The Aquarium of The Bay in San Francisco’s iconic Fisherman’s Wharf, Nettie has cultivated a diverse skill set through roles in Finance and Operations. Nettie brings a wealth of experience and a passion for her role at Community Initiatives. Introduced to the organization through an employee referral, she was immediately drawn to the company’s ability to support over 100 fiscal sponsored projects so they can continue to focus on their mission and create a positive impact in the communities that they serve.

What truly captivates Nettie about working at Community Initiatives is that the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, fostering a sense of belonging from day one. A San Francisco native, Nettie recently graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. Outside of work and academics, she finds joy in spending quality time with family and friends, whether cheering on her favorite sports teams, exploring the vibrant local music and art scenes, immersing themselves in nature through hiking adventures, indulging in cinematic experiences, or savoring culinary delights at new restaurants. A devoted mom, Nettie cherishes spending quality time with their daughter, whether it’s attending birthday parties, exploring the Bay Area’s myriad boba shops to discover new flavors together, or embarking on thrilling adventures to theme parks.
