Just Equations

Just Equations’ (JEQ) goal since its founding has been to expand equitable college opportunity by ensuring that math serves as a foundation, rather than a filter, for educational success. To do this, JEQ builds awareness and support for policy design and implementation to reduce equity gaps in the pathway from high school to college. It seeks to ensure rigorous, equity-minded, evidence-based, and well-aligned math practices and policies with a particular focus on three policy areas: 1) high school math pathways and graduation policies, 2) postsecondary admissions and readiness requirements, and 3) postsecondary math pathway redesign.
