MENTOR California

MENTOR CaliforniaThis Giving Tuesday, MENTOR California is reminded that generosity isn’t only measured in dollars—it’s measured in time, wisdom, and belief. Mentoring is one of the most powerful gifts that can be given, as it unlocks potential in young people who need someone to believe in them, builds bridges of equity and opportunity across communities, and creates legacy—every conversation plants seeds that grow far beyond us all.

Mentoring lets people share hope, connection, and supports a future worth celebrating.

Nevada Clinicians for Climate Action

Nevada Clinicians for Climate ActionNevada Clinicians for Climate Action (NVCCA) is the only organization in Nevada with a singular focus on reducing the human health harms of climate change. While some organizations are quieting their climate action or turning to other issues, NVCCA continues to proudly and loudly educate and advocate for solutions.

NVCCA is 90% volunteer powered and 100% self-supporting!

Mission Science Workshop

Mission Science WorkshopMission Science Workshop (MSW) celebrates Wonder Without Walls this giving season because science belongs everywhere and to everyone. With the help of their beloved mobile science van, “Vancent Van Go,” MSW is now rolling science beyond their workshop walls and bringing their hands-on programs to community centers and schools across the Bay Area. The generosity of their donors will help them to continue to provide accessible, high-quality programs for San Francisco’s most underserved communities.

The Young Shakespeareans

The Young ShakespeareansThe Young Shakespeareans (TYS) empowers young people to speak with confidence, imagine without limits, and envision futures filled with possibility. TYS’ afterschool programs bring theatre arts into neighborhood schools, which help students to unlock their academic, social, and creative potential. Support for these programs engages families and the greater community, while connection with theatrical subjects fosters compassion, self-awareness, and social-emotional literacy among participants as they explore dramatic literature and the universal themes that connect them with each other.
