Veena Kondapalli

Veena brings more than a decade of corporate finance experience to the Community Initiatives team. As a Project Accountant, she enjoys partnering with projects to support budgeting, manage financial statements, navigate grant invoicing, and conduct thoughtful expense reviews, so projects stay financially strong and focused on their missions.

Although Veena holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, she discovered an interest for the analytical and problem‑solving aspects of finance and accounting. To further root her expertise in the nonprofit sector, she earned a certificate in Financial Success in Nonprofit Organizations from Cornell University.

Originally from India, Veena spent over ten years living, working, and studying in New York before making her way to the West Coast. Outside of work, she enjoys connecting with new people and exploring cities near and far, including San Francisco, San Jose, Half Moon Bay, New York City, and her hometown of Hyderabad.
