Hems & BrimsThis Juneteenth, Hems & Brims is relaunching their Black Fashion Directory. The directory is a great resource for connecting with designers, stylists, photographers, and others in the fashion industry. For a limited time, listings in the directory are free. The deadline for submissions to be included for the Juneteenth relaunch is Monday, June 16. The Black Fashion Directory will relaunch June 19, 2025.

Pre-Health Dreamers

Pre-Health DreamersPre-Health Dreamers will hold a Q&A session for those in the educational community interested in learning how to best support undocumented students on their educational journey. The session provides an excellent opportunity for professionals in the community, such as educators, advisors, and deans, to learn about the needs, requirements, and best advising practices for undocumented students.

Days of Dialogue

Days of DialogueDays of Dialogue invites you to join them for the 2025 Empowerment Congress Juneteenth Observance. This year’s theme is Educate, Engage, Empower: Resilience in the Face of Chaos. The event seeks to harness the emancipatory spirit of Juneteenth and apply it to the Empowerment Congress’s unique brand and role as a practitioner of civic engagement, known for utilizing the dialogic process to encourage open discussion among civil society leadership while examining the role of community leaders and activists in response to current events.

The Empowerment Congress will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Los Angeles, CA. Learn more.


Vision Zero Network

Vision Zero NetworkVision Zero Network wants to help communities gain funding so they can shift from reactive one-spot fixes to a long-term safety strategy. You can find their updated guide for 2025, Ideas for Leveraging Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant, on their website. The guide helps applicants looking to build their Vision Zero Action Plan rooted in the Safe System approach apply for this funding. The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has set the deadline of June 26, 2025 for this application cycle.
