California Foodshed Funders

In August of this year, California Foodshed Funders welcomed their new Executive Director, Amanda Kim. Amanda grew up on a tenant farm, and her family has been involved with agriculture since the 1980s. Amanda has 20+ years of experience in service design, implementation, and evaluation in the health, housing, and human services fields.

Castro Country Club

Castro Country ClubOn October 26, Castro Country Club held its annual gala fundraiser dinner, Harvest Feast 11, ‘Boogie Wonderland’. It had a ’70s disco theme. It was held at the War Memorial Green Room and featured an auction that was open for ten days. Tickets were available on their website.

SF Hep B FreeAre you in the Brisbane, CA area? Come join the fun and learn about Hep B with San Francisco Hep B Free at Samoan Solutions’ 12th Annual Turkey Trot on Saturday, Nov.19th. This community event is guaranteed to be a fun way to help jumpstart healthy living this holiday season. San Francisco Hep B Free will be there to share community health education as well as cheer on all the Turkey Trotters.
