The Young Shakespeareans

The Young Shakespeareans (TYS) mission is to captivate, energize, and empower 4th thru 12th grade children in Los Angeles’ underserved communities. Through challenging after-school programs on site in Title 1 public schools, TYS alchemize the magic of theatre with academics, awareness, and life-skills, to teach our students how to responsibly and powerfully navigate their world. TYS’ motto is ​“IF I CAN DO SHAKESPEARE, I CAN DO ANYTHING!”
