Denice Liu

Denice has over five years of nonprofit experience ranging from direct client work to nonprofit administration, risk management, and training design. They love working on values-driven and collaborative teams serving local communities. Prior to Community Initiatives, Denice has worked in housing, crisis services, mental and behavioral healthcare fields, with children, families, and adults. Joining Community Initiatives in 2023, Denice is excited to be part of the Client Services team providing administrative support to a rich variety of fiscally sponsored projects.

Originally from New Jersey, Denice received a B.S. degree at McGill University in Montreal before moving to Seattle and then settling down in Los Angeles, where they are currently based.  In their free time, Denice loves to hike, camp, and cook Chinese food.
