Mayda Tealdi

With over 20 years of experience in finance, Mayda brings a seasoned perspective to her newer role in nonprofit fiscal sponsorship—proof that while the landscape may evolve, strong financial principles never go out of style. Mayda’s especially drawn to organizations that prioritize giving back, and she takes pride in contributing to work that positively impacts our communities.

Outside of her professional life, Mayda volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, provides meals for the un-housed, and spends meaningful time with the elderly. These experiences of giving back continue to shape her perspective and values.

Originally from New York and Puerto Rico, Mayda made California home in 1989, enjoying the sunshine (and not so much the traffic) ever since. Mayda’s a proud parent to both a daughter who has graduated from and a son currently attending Penn State University. She and her husband are looking forward to spending more time traveling in the years ahead.

When not working, she can likely be found reading, spending time with family, listening to music, or enjoying a good comedy—preferably one that leaves her laughing well after the credits roll.
